Design and Web Dev for Sports Activities Booking Platform
Challenge
The client is a sports Start-up that handles the problem of finding different sports activities in their area and booking classes from one place. They wanted to develop a solution to easily book classes in gyms and activity centres and buy sports passes from a centralised place. At the same time, the product helps sports centres better market their services, add more revenue streams as well as manage their schedule.
Solution
Payapars did wireframes and customer journey phase to understand the user goals and personas, followed by a design phase. The platform was developed in Java,Flutter,Swift and PHP(NodeJS,Redis,MongoDB) and it was integrated with a payments service provider(Epay). Custom admin panel was built for sports centres in order to manage their schedule and pricing that could be personalsied. The project was frozen after 1 year due to strong competition from international players.
